To create great wine you must start with the soil and vines, so our first focus at Sandhill is the vineyards. Each of our Okanagan Valley vineyards have unique characteristics that are expressed in wines made from that vineyard. Which is why Sandhill makes only single vineyard wines and we put the specific vineyard name on the label of each wine we make.

Sandhill works with grapes from four outstanding Okanagan Valley, BC vineyards - Sandhill Estate, Phantom Creek, King Family and Osprey Ridge - that are tended with a sensitive touch by grape growers Rob Goltz, Richard Cleave, Rod King and Don King.

These Okanagan Valley vineyards are each different in soil composition, slope, exposure to sun and drainage. Our grape growers utilize decades of experience in farming our grapes to maximum ripeness, extracting the best qualities that each vineyard offers, resulting in exceptional Okanagan Valley VQA wine.
